This case was commissioned by Target Corp to be presented

to actor Denzel Washington as a solicitation to become the

spokesperson for the National Historic Monument Preservation

Commission. The case contains a hand made, copper bound book

which outlines the efforts of the commission, which are being

underwritten by Target Corp. Included are a cover letter from

President Clinton and a video tape of projects in progress.

The case is entirely handmade, right down to the solid copper hinges

and the tiny rivets which fasten them down.
